Introduction

I always gave myself my own mental cameras growing up. I spend time in my dorm imagining myself from different angles for no real reason other than to test myself. With this class, I was actually given the test. CMDP 1400 gave my imagination some actual direction. The various themes required for my photos really pushed me outside my comfort zone in terms of framing the image. It forced me to place the mental cameras on something other than myself in order to get the best shot I could.

CMDP taught me how to create some kind of story with my photos as well as understand that some pictures are just pictures to others. So as you venture through the pages I hope you're able to find your own narrative in my college experience.
