My Perspective Over Time

One theme throughout the semester I noticed while compiling pictures for this was how I expanded my lens. For me, it began with taking pictures of nature. Boulder is a beautiful place and I explored an area near my dorm a lot looking for photos. I began at the ground level first. Walking along the river and trail. Then I took an interest in the trees and thought the tree line looked amazing at sunset. I then decided to explore the trees themselves as their leaves fell. I was able to capture one of the last leaves on a tree right behind the sun, creating my own eclipse of sorts. This inspired me to look to the sky frequently. A friend of mine pointed out what they believed to be Jupiter me one night and thought it was great how my personal lens expanded from the ground to our solar system.
